About us

Since the last decade or so, the rate of Nepalese immigrants is increasing in Australia. At the same time many Nepalese talents are residing in Australia from various aspects of Nepalese art, culture and literature. For unifying the scattered talents in various sectors, a need of organization was felt which gave birth to this 'Academy' in february 2008 in Sydney. It is to believe that the 'Academy' may play vital role to promote and preserve Nepalese art, culture and literature within Australia.

Aims and Objectives:
  • The main aims and objectives of this academy is to preserve and promote Nepalese Art, Culture, Literature and social norms and values within the Nepalese communities residing in Australia,
  • It also plays a vital role on the development of many talents of Nepalese artists on various sectors of arts and culture,
  • It also aims to lead various talents under this academy who are scattered due to lack of this type of organizations which can support them,
  • It is also concerned about the social and economical security of all member artists who will contribute their valuable time and talents to entertain others,
  • As being away from motherland, the love for native art, culture and literature will always rise. The academy believes its contribution towards Nepalese arts, culture and literature will satisfy the thirst of Nepalese communities in Australia till eternity.
